How Remote Activation has grown my business
For over a dozen years, I’ve been activating some of my most potent business and career lines — without even boarding a plane.
This article is about remote activation, career and vocational lines, divine synchronicity, and how to bring your own career stories to life.
🌍 What Is Remote Activation?
In astrocartography, we often think of traveling or relocating to a place to experience its planetary influences. But remote activation happens when you engage energetically with a region without physically being there.
It might happen through mentors, clients, collaborators, crafted goods and food, studies, art, or spiritual traditions that originate from a specific part of the world. By connecting with that region, its planetary signatures begin to “turn on” for you — shaping your path in subtle and sometimes life-changing ways. (I’ll be writing a separate article just on Remote Activation.)
🪐 My Best Career Lines: Saturn & North Node in Eastern Australia
Recently, I did a deep dive into my best career lines, and the results left me captivated by the synchronicities. At least four important business mentors were from the exact part of the world where the ruler of my 10th house (career) sits — my Saturn MC line, running through eastern Australia.
My 10th house is in Capricorn, ruled by Saturn.
MC lines are about Career, Vocation, Public Life.
Not only does my Saturn MC line run through this region, but my North Node MC line also crosses here. My Moon MC line crosses a little further out.
Why does this matter?
The ruler of your 10th house is arguably your most important (MC) career line.
Saturn is the teacher — foundations, structure, boundaries, discipline. At lower levels, Saturn can bring isolation, harsh lessons, and hard work. But when integrated, he acts like the building inspector of your life: ensuring what you create is solid, lasting, and structurally sound.
The North Node represents destined connections, karmic and dharmic storylines — the points where life takes a new course, often through fated encounters.
When I connected with my first mentor from this region, Katherine Hocking, I unknowingly laid a Saturnian foundation for my future business. She had created the E-Course Launch Formula, and I invested in her program to build my first online course, teaching families how to implement the GAPS Protocol in their homes.
The tools I learned from this mentor across the world catalyzed my business's first true financial flow — enough to cover expenses like my son’s middle school tuition. From there, I connected with other Australian mentors, each bringing a different “flavor” of activation. This week, I’m beginning a new mentorship with Jenna Black, also from this region.
These connections weren’t random. They were North Node initiations and Saturnian constructions — building blocks placed with divine precision.
🌐 Adding the Paran Layer: The “Flavors” of Activation
When you look at your astrocartography map, the main angular lines (Sun, Moon, Saturn, etc., on MC/IC/AS/DC) give you the big picture. But the paran lines add another very impactful dimension — they show how planetary energies combine and interact horizontally across the map, adding important “flavors” to the activations.
Each mentor I worked with embodied these energies in a distinct way:
✍️ Mercury–Neptune Paran → Leonie Dawson, Canberra, Australia
Mercury: intellect, communication, teaching, mental agility.
Neptune: spirituality, elevated consciousness, otherworldly inspiration — but also potential for illusion and fogginess.
Leonie Dawson modeled a creative, spiritual business lifestyle — weaving teaching, writing, and learning into a luminous, wildly successful business. She inspired me to trust my own creative and spiritual intelligence in the business world.
☀️ Sun–Pallas Athena Paran → Katherine Hocking & Jenna Black, Sydney, Australia
Sun: vitality, will, soul’s purpose, where we shine.
Pallas Athena: the feminine strategist — channeling sexual and creative energy into mental and creative progeny.
This is the flavor Katherine Hocking embodied as I built my first course, and what I feel again as I step into a container with Jenna Black. These women radiate strategic creative leadership, helping me bring my "Soul’s Will" into form.
💰 Venus–Pallas Athena & Uranus–Pallas Athena Parans → Denise Duffield-Thomas, Brisbane, Australia
Near the place of my mentor Denise Duffield-Thomas and her Money Bootcamp — two additional paran lines run through my map: Venus–Pallas Athena and Uranus–Pallas Athena.
Venus brings themes of money, beauty, harmony, and magnetism.
Uranus brings themes of freedom, liberation, innovation, and rapid change.
Pallas Athena adds the flavor of feminine strategy — the ability to channel creative and sexual intelligence into clear, mental creation.
This combination describes Denise’s work almost uncannily: a strategic, feminine approach to money, wealth, and freedom. When I fully engaged with her course, Uranus was transiting my 2nd house of income and self-worth, amplifying the liberating, paradigm-shifting energy I experienced through her teachings. Her mentorship coincided with major upgrades in how I related to money, value, and financial flow — all with a distinctly Venusian elegance and Uranian spark.
🌟 A Transiting Saturn MC Activation: Kendrick Shope & Sales School
Saturn wove another thread into my career story. I looked back at when I enrolled in Kendrick Shope’s Sales School, which became a pivotal piece of my business growth during and after my divorce, and I discovered that a transiting Saturn MC line was running right over her area of the United States.
Transiting lines act as temporary activation portals, bringing the planetary archetype to life in real time. Saturn transiting the MC line often signals a period of career restructuring, new levels of mastery, and laying long-term foundations.
Looking back, it’s astonishingly clear: Saturn was calling me to grow up vocationally. Sales School was exactly the structured, strategic container I needed. And once again, the place was no accident — it was written in my sky-map.
👥 Why Two People Can Experience the Same Place Differently
Someone else could work with the same mentor or live in the same region and have a really different experience. That’s because astrocartography interacts with your unique natal chart and your current evolutionary stage.
For example, Saturn can feel isolating, harsh, and demanding when its lessons aren’t yet integrated. Later, the constructive Saturn themes of structure, legacy, and lasting impact emerge.
Similarly, North Node activations can initially feel disruptive, sweeping change into your life, but they become increasingly magical and synchronistic as you align with your dharma.
Additionally, each planet is uniquely supported and/or challenged in a person's natal chart. Taking that into account is vital for how that planet will express for each person.
🌀 Evolving Over Time
I’ve been activating my eastern Australian lines for over 12 years. In the early years, Saturn’s flavor was strong: laying foundations, learning hard lessons, putting in the work.
Today, that relationship has matured. I’m experiencing higher octaves — more dharmic flow, synchronicities, and refined Saturnian building. It’s a beautiful reminder that the same line evolves with you.

Here’s how you can begin exploring your own career activations:
Via Astro.com, you can enter your birth data, then navigate to their AstroClick travel section to see the initial layer of your map. Locate your MC lines — ideally, the ruler of your 10th house. These are your career lines on the map.
Identify your North Node lines — they highlight where fated connections may occur.
The paran lines are challenging to access on Astro.com, but you can layer in paran lines to understand the “flavor” and nuance of different regions.
Notice your real-life connections: Where do your mentors, collaborators, or significant clients live? You may already be remotely activating powerful lines.
Engage intentionally with regions that hold career lines — through mentorship, collaboration, cultural immersion, study, the purchase of handmade goods and food, or spiritual work.
Watch transits — temporary planetary lines can bring potent windows of activation, even in regions you haven’t explored before.
You don’t need a plane ticket to call in your destiny. Begin with your astrocartography map and see where life has already been quietly working in your favor.
